Al-assami is a traditional clothing brand for north-African -precisely Algerian- women. The brand is the owners’ way to honor their culture and ensure its passing on through generations, by giving the pieces a modern touch while keeping the essence of north-African traditional clothing.
Al-Assami’s vision is for the youth to embrace the charm and richness of their culture, so that the beauty of traditions isn’t exclusive to the older generation, but rather admired, appreciated, and passed on by the younger one.

The challenge we faced with this brand was to visually represent both of its contrasting sides, the traditional and modern one, so we can attract the right audience. But with the right combination of elements, we were able to display the diversity of the north-African tradition without overshadowing the modernity of Al-Asami’s clothing designs.

The color palette isn’t just aesthetically stunning, but also heavily inspired by a combination of north-African cultural elements. From the traditional clothing to the famous Amazigh olive trees, Islamic architecture, the rich history, and the cultural harmony of this region.






The final result is a visually captivating identity that reflects the business’s vision, emphasizes its uniqueness, and appeals to the right audience for it.
